About

Eli obtained an undergraduate degree in Political Science with a minor in Biblical Studies from Gardner-Webb University in 2018. He graduated as a member of the Pi Sigma Alpha honors society and received the William H. Withrow Political Science Award. Eli then attended Wake Forest University School of Law on the Charles P. Rose Scholarship and graduated in 2021. During law school he received high honors in both Trial Practice and Mediation and obtained his Mediation Certification. While at Wake Forest he also served as the president of the Christian Legal Society.

A North Carolina native, Eli practiced at a western North Carolina firm in the civil litigation division before moving to Knoxville and joining Hodges, Doughty & Carson. Eli’s current practice includes general civil litigation with a focus on property/real estate litigation and tort litigation. He also focuses on Homeowner’s association matters as well as zoning and land-use disputes. Eli enjoys spending time with his wife Caroline and their daughter, as well as playing golf, traveling, and visiting family.
