
Lisa J. Hall
About
Lisa Jellison Hall received her undergraduate degree from the University of Tennessee and graduated magna cum laude from the University of Tennessee College of Law in 1997. She was the recipient of the University of Tennessee College of Law Certificate of Academic Excellence Award and the Corpus Juris Secundum Award. She joined Hodges, Doughty & Carson as an associate and was admitted to the bar in 1997. Lisa is listed as a Tennessee Supreme Court “Rule 31” Family Law Mediator.
She is a member of the Knoxville Bar Association, Tennessee Bar Association, American Bar Association, and East Tennessee Lawyers Association for Women. She is also a Master of the Bench member of the Hamilton Burnett Chapter of the American Inns of Court and a 2022 Fellow of the Knoxville Bar Foundation. She was a member of the Knoxville Bar Association Board of Governors for the term of 2015-2017. Lisa is a regular contributor to the Knoxville Bar Association’s monthly publication, DICTA. She also serves as a member of the Hearing Panel for the Board of Professional Responsibility.
Lisa’s practice is primarily devoted to family law and also includes general civil litigation and trial practice, including motor vehicle, premises liability, business and contract matters. She has been named in the Best Lawyers in America, as well as CityView Top Attorneys, in multiple areas of practice for the past several years.
